ecoTEC plus Remastered
The ecoTEC plus Remastered is Vaillant's most comprehensively updated model and the choice we recommend for the majority of UK homes. It combines proven ecoTEC reliability with a thoroughly modernised feature set, including an updated heat exchanger, quieter pump operation, and improved compatibility with smart heating controls. Available as both a combi and a system boiler, it covers the full range of domestic heating scenarios.
The Remastered range is available in a wide selection of outputs, from 25kW to 35kW in combi configuration, making it suitable for everything from a two-bedroom flat to a five-bedroom family home. The exclusive is distinguished by its integrated weather compensation – rather than heating to a fixed flow temperature regardless of outdoor conditions, it continuously adjusts the heating output based on real-time outdoor temperature data. In practice, this means the boiler operates at lower, more efficient flow temperatures on milder days, and only ramps up when genuinely needed. These systems remain common in older UK properties, and in many cases it is more cost-effective and disruptive to replace like-for-like than to convert to a sealed system.
VaillantCare recommends the ecoTEC plus Open Vent where system conversion would require significant pipework alterations, where a large property demands a separately stored hot water cylinder for adequate simultaneous demand, or where the customer wishes to retain an existing hot water cylinder that is in good condition.
Despite its conventional system format, the ecoTEC plus Open Vent delivers the same high condensing efficiency as the rest of the ecoTEC range. It is compatible with smart heating controls and can be integrated with Vaillant's sensoCOMFORT platform for app-based control and scheduling. ecoFIT pure
The ecoFIT pure is Vaillant's entry-level gas boiler and represents the accessible end of the range without compromising on the core qualities that make Vaillant products worth choosing. It delivers reliable, efficient heating and hot water from a compact, lightweight unit that is straightforward to install and maintain.
Available in combi and system configurations and across a range of outputs from 25kW to 35kW, the ecoFIT pure is the right choice for budget-conscious homeowners who want the reassurance of a Vaillant product – with its associated parts availability, engineer familiarity, and manufacturer support – without the additional cost of the premium features found in the ecoTEC range.
The ecoFIT pure is also app-compatible via the Vaillant sensoAPP platform when paired with a compatible room thermostat, giving homeowners remote control capability without significant additional investment. It carries the same A energy efficiency rating as the rest of the Vaillant range and is backed by a manufacturer warranty that can be extended through annual professional servicing.
