VaillantCare.uk is operated as an independent heating engineering business. All engineers working under the VaillantCare brand hold current Gas Safe registration, which can be verified independently via the Gas Safe Register at www.gassaferegister.co.uk.

Full registered business details, including company registration number (where applicable), Gas Safe registration number, and registered address, are available on request and will be included on all formal quotations, invoices, and completion certificates issued to customers.

For all commercial and consumer enquiries, please use the contact methods provided on this website or the online booking system. Representation of VaillantCare as a Vaillant Group company in any communication, whether verbal, written, or electronic, is factually incorrect and should be disregarded.

6. Gas Safety & Technical Information Disclaimer

This website contains general information about gas boilers, heating systems, and associated safety matters. This information is provided for educational and informational purposes only and does not constitute professional gas engineering advice, nor does it replace the need for inspection and assessment by a qualified Gas Safe registered engineer.

Gas emergencies: If you smell gas, suspect a gas leak, or your carbon monoxide alarm sounds, you must not rely on any information on this website. You must immediately:

1. Leave the property without operating any electrical switches;
2. Call the National Gas Emergency Service on 0800 111 999 (free, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week);
3. Call the emergency services (999) if persons in the property are unwell or incapacitated.

Do not re-enter the property until authorised to do so by the National Gas Emergency Service or emergency services. VaillantCare cannot and does not provide gas emergency response services. The information provided on our chatbot assistant and fault code guides is not a substitute for emergency services.

All gas work carried out by VaillantCare is subject to the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998 (as amended) and is performed only by currently registered Gas Safe engineers. Customers are advised to verify engineer credentials independently via the Gas Safe Register before permitting any gas work to commence.

7. Booking & Service Terms

Use of the online booking system on VaillantCare.uk constitutes a request for an appointment and does not in itself form a binding contract for the provision of services. A binding agreement for services is formed only when VaillantCare has confirmed the booking in writing (including by email) and the customer has received and acknowledged the written terms of engagement and quotation.

The following conditions apply to all bookings:

• Diagnostic fees: Where a diagnostic visit is booked, the diagnostic fee will be applied against the cost of any subsequent repair agreed during the same visit. If no repair is agreed, the diagnostic fee is payable in full.
• Parts and labour: All quoted prices are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated. Parts prices are subject to availability and may vary from estimates provided prior to a visit.
• Cancellation: Customers may cancel or reschedule a booking without charge provided more than 24 hours' notice is given. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a call-out charge to cover the engineer's allocated time.
• Access: Customers must ensure that safe, unobstructed access to the boiler, heating system, and any relevant parts of the property is available at the agreed appointment time. VaillantCare cannot be held responsible for delays or additional charges arising from inadequate access.
• Follow-up work: Where an engineer identifies safety-critical issues beyond the scope of the original booking, customers will be informed and a separate quotation provided. VaillantCare will not proceed with additional chargeable work without explicit customer consent.

Full terms and conditions of service are provided to each customer in writing at the time of booking confirmation. In the event of any conflict between information on this website and the written terms of engagement, the written terms of engagement shall prevail.

8. Privacy & Data Protection

VaillantCare is committed to protecting the privacy of all persons who interact with this website or use our services. We process personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
